Tentative -06 to -07 Changes Provide for a port to be configured as leading to a point-to-point link directly to another Rbridge. Such a port would be disabled on receipt of a native data frame or a Hello from a different Rbridge. TRILL frames sent on such a port MAY use the All-Rbridges multicast address as their fixed outer destination and source addresses. Current draft specifically asserts Rbridges do not support GVRP (GARP VLAN Registration Protocol) which, in any case, has been replaced by MVRP. Update and change to MAY support. |
