The IESG and IETF have been quite active since the August IETF Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 84 Protocol and Document Actions, 62 Last Calls issued, 902 Internet-Drafts processed (over 500 in the three weeks prior to the meeting), and132 RFCs published.
Between the IETF meetings in Pittsburgh and San Diego, seven working groups were created:
· Kerberized Internet Negotiation of Keys (kink)
· IP Storage (ips)
· Securely Available Credentials (sacred)
· Next Generation Structure of Management Information (sming)
· Context and Micro-mobility Routing (seamoby)
· LDAP (v3) Revision (ldapbis)
· Reliable Server Pooling (rserpool)
Five working groups were closed down during the period:
· Physical Topology MIB (ptopomib)
· TCP Implementation (tcpimpl)
· Content Negotiation (conneg)
· HyperText Transfer Protocol (http)
· Realtime Traffic Flow Measurement (rtfm)
Additionally, 86 RFC's (61 of which were standards track) have been published since Pittsburgh IETF meeting in August, 2000:
