    Minutes
    -------
    1. The minutes of the May 31 Teleconference were approved. Steve to
    place in public archives.

    2. The IESG approved publication of Internet X.509 Public Key
    Infrastructure Stamp Protocols (TSP)
<draft-ietf-pkix-time-stamp-15.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve
    to send announcement.

    3. The IESG approved publication of End-to-end Performance
Implications of Slow Links <draft-ietf-pilc-slow-06.txt> as a BCP.
    Steve to send announcement.

    4. Steve to send a WG review message for Open Pluggable Edge Services
(opes) to IETF-Announce and new-work lists.

    5. The IESG approved creation of the Geographic Location/Privacy
(geopriv) Working Group in the Application Area. Steve to announce.

    6. Steve to send new RAP charter to IESG. If no concerns are raised,
Steve to update the WG records to show the new description and
    milestones.

    7. The IESG approved publication of IP Multicast Applications:
    Challenges and Solutions <draft-ietf-mboned-mcast-apps-02.txt> as
an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

    8. The IESG had no problem with the publication of A URN Namespace for
    Public Identifiers <draft-walsh-urn-publicid-01.txt> as an
Informational RFC. Steve to notify RFC Editor, and ask them to
correct a typo on Page 6. In the string:

    "urn:publicid:+:IDN+example.org:DTD+XML+Bookmarks+1.0:EN:XML"

the :+: needs to be replaced with :%2B:

    9. Jeff assumed the token for compiling the code in US Secure Hash
    Algorithm 1 (SHA1) <draft-eastlake-sha1-02.txt> in exchange for
Ned's [implied] promise to complete his review of the PGP-MIME doc.

    10. It was noted that the Windows 2000 Kerberos Change Password and Set
    Password Protocols
    <draft-trostle-win2k-cat-kerberos-set-passwd-02.txt> contained the
"can not publish as RFC" statement; confusing since the author
submitted it for consideration as an Informational RFC. After
confirming that a new/seperate message will be sent if/when an
update is submitted, Steve to remove from Items list (and suggest
to RFC Editor that they replicate the action).

Steve to send a note to the RFC Editor asking them to check
boilerplate text prior to sending documents to the IESG, and to
consider returning documents to the authors when appropriate.

    11. Steve to send a DNP message for CHECKING OF MESSAGE INTEGRITY
    DURING SMTP TRANSACTIONS <draft-bose-smtp-integrity-00.txt>,
stealing as much as he wants from Ned's draft DNP note.

    12. The IESG had no problem with the publication of MGCP Business Phone
    Packages <draft-srinath-mgcp-bus-packages-01.txt> as an
Informational RFC as long as the IESG note (drafted by Scott)
is published with it. Steve to convey to RFC Editor.

    13. Harald accepted the token for Root Zone Definitions
<draft-higgs-root-defs-01.txt> and Alternative Roots and the
Virtual Inclusive Root <draft-higgs-virtual-root-00.txt>. When he
has finished the note, he will send to Steve who will post to the
    IETF Announcement list.

    14. The IESG accepted the separation of references in RFCs
pronouncement drafted by Scott. Steve to post to IETF Announcement
list and the Statements web page.

    15. Steve will begin including non-WG reading list documents on the
Recent Actions web page referencing the no problem message posted
    to the RFC Editor.

    16. Steve to send the Note Well text to every WG Chair, once he
receives a copy of the revisied text from Harald.

    17. Allison volunteered/was drafted to write up the IESG note to
accompany the four nat-rsip documents that were previously approved
for publication as Experimental RFCs. Thomas offered to assist.
