    Minutes

    1. The minutes of the October 5 Teleconference were approved. Steve to
    place in public archives.

    2. The IESG approved publication of Reverse Tunneling for Mobile IP,
    revised <draft-ietf-mobileip-rfc2344-bis-02.txt> as a Proposed
    Standard. Steve to send announcement. The announcement should
    include a note to the RFC Editor requesting that text noting that
    this document replaces RFC2344 be included in the text body, that
    the appendices be moved from the middle to the end of the document,
    and that the section on changes since last version be removed prior
    to publication.

    3. The IESG approved publication of Definitions of Managed Objects for
    Monitoring and Controlling the UNI/NNI Multilink Frame Relay
    Function <draft-ietf-frnetmib-mfrmib-04.txt> as a Proposed
    Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    4. In February 2000, the IESG approved publication of IP
    Authentication using Keyed SHA1 with Data Padding
    <draft-simpson-ah-sha-kdp-00.txt> as an Informational RFC. During
    the 48 hour review period, the authors requested that the document
    instead be published as Historic. The IESG had no problem with the
    document being published as Historic. Steve to notify RFC Editor.

    5. The IESG approved formation of the Securely Available Credentials
    (sacred) Working roup in the Security Area. Steve to send
    announcement.

    6. Steve to send the WG Review message for Next Generation Structure
    of Management Information (sming) to the IETF Announcement and
    new-work lists.

    7. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Common Gateway
    Interface for SIP <draft-lennox-sip-cgi-04.txt> as an Informational
    RFC, but with an IESG note. Ned to draft and send to the list. If
    no issues or concerns are raised, Steve to notify RFC Editor.

    8. The IESG consensus was that High Level Logical Link Control
    (HLLC) <draft-rodriguez-hllc-00.txt> should not be published.
    Allison to draft the DNP note Once received, Steve to convey to
    RFC Editor.

    9. The IESG consensus was that Universal Service Protocol
    <draft-shemsedinov-usp-00.txt> should not be published as an
    Experimental Protocol. Allison nominated Scott to draft the DNP
    note. Steve to inform Scott :-). Once received, Steve to convey to
    RFC Editor.

    10. The IESG consensus was that Flexible proxy of mail protocols
    <draft-khanna-proxy-mail-protocols-00.txt> should not be published
    as an Experimental Protocol. Ned to provide text which Steve will
    convey to RFC Editor.

    11. The IESG consensus was that Mail transfer reliability in Simple
    Mail Tranfer Protocol(SMTP)
    <draft-khanna-smtp-mail-transfer-reliability-00.txt> should not be
    published as the service it provides offers no additional
    functionality over the service already defined in RFC 1845. Steve
    to convey to RFC Editor.
