    1. The minutes of the February 11 Teleconference were approved. Steve
    to place in public archives.

    2. The IESG approved publication of the following Internet-Drafts as
    Proposed Standards:

    o Definitions of Managed Objects for the Delegation of

    3. The IESG approved publication of Internet X.509 Public Key
    Infrastructure Operational Protocols: FTP and HTTP
    <draft-ietf-pkix-opp-ftp-http-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve
    to send announcement.

    4. The IESG approved publication of Internet X.509 Public Key
    Infrastructure LDAP Schema <draft-ietf-pkix-ldapv2-schema-02.txt> as
    a Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    5. The IESG approved publication of Internet X.509 Public Key
    Infrastructure Operational Protocols - LDAPv2
    <draft-ietf-pkix-ipki2opp-08.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve to
    send announcement.

    6. The IESG approved publication of Internet X.509 Public Key
    Infrastructure Online Certificate Status Protocol - OCSP

    Bert is to send replacement text for "garbled" portion directly to
    RFC Editor. Once done, Steve to send announcement.

    9. The IESG approved publication of DHCP Option to Disable Stateless
    Auto-Configuration in IPv4 Clients
    <draft-ietf-dhc-autoconfig-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve to
    send announcement.

    10. The IESG approved publication of Hypertext Transfer Protocol --
    HTTP/1.1 <draft-ietf-http-v11-spec-rev-06.txt> as a Draft Standard.

    11. The IESG approved publication of HTTP Authentication: Basic and
    Digest Access Authentication <draft-ietf-http-authentication-03.txt>
    as a Draft Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    12. The IESG approved publication of Application Management MIB
    <draft-ietf-applmib-mib-11.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve to
    send announcement.

    13. The IESG tentatively approved publication of Definitions of Managed
    Objects for WWW Services <draft-ietf-applmib-wwwmib-11.txt> as a
    Proposed Standard. Bert needs to review the -11 document. If
    acceptable, Steve to send announcement.

    14. The IESG approved creation of the Instant Messaging and Presence
    Protocol (IMPP) Working Group. Steve to send announcement.

    15. The IESG approved creation of the Web REplication and Caching (WREC)
    Working Group. Steve to send WG Review message to IETF Announce and
    NEW-WORK. After a few days, Steve to send announcement.

    16. The IESG approved creation of the Authentication, Authorization, and
    Accounting (AAA) Working Group. Steve to send WG Review message to
    IETF Announce and NEW-WORK. After a few days, Steve to send
    announcement.

    17. The IESG approved publication of Guidelines for Next Hop Client
    (NHC) Developers <draft-carlson-nhrp-03.txt> as an Informational
    RFC. Steve to send announcement.

    18. The IESG approved publication of IP Multicast and Firewalls
    <draft-ietf-mboned-mcast-firewall-02.txt> as an Informational RFC.
    Steve to send announcement.

    19. The Application ADs asked for a Security review of X.509
    Authentication SASL Mechanism <draft-ietf-ldapext-x509-sasl-01.txt>
    before it was approved for publication as an Informational RFC. If
    the Security ADs approve of the document, Steve to send
    announcement

    20. The IESG approved publication of FTP Security Considerations
    <draft-ietf-ftpext-sec-consider-02.txt> as an Informational RFC.
    Steve to send announcement.

    21. The IESG approved publication of The Audio/L16 MIME content type
    <draft-alvestrand-audio-l16-01.txt> as an Informational RFC. Steve
    to include a note requesting the RFC Editor to change 8000 samples
    per second to 8mbytes per second).

    22. The IESG consensus was that Writing I-Ds and RFCs using XML
    <draft-mrose-writing-rfcs-00.txt> should be reviewed by the Poisson
    WG. Steve to notify RFC Editor.

    23. Keith reported that discussions with the author of PNG (Portable
    Network Graphics) Specification, Version 1.1
    <draft-randers-ng-spec-00.txt> have been initiated, but are still in
    progress.

    24. Steve informed the IESG that the Action announcements from this
    telechat will not be posted until after all the Internet-Drafts
    announcements have been posted (i.e. not until the week just before
    the IETF meeting in Minneapolis).

    25. The IESG did not approve draft-ietf-dnsind-rfc2052bis-02.txt as a
    Proposed Standard, as the APP ADs raised the following four points:

    o example of SRV for HTML is inappropriate as SRV is not defined for
    use with SRV
    o reference to BCP 14 should be to RFC 2119
    o there needs to be a template which may be used to define
    application use of SRV
    o use of weight feature should be defined on a per-application basis
    Thomas will make note and discuss with WG.
