pending edits to be provided by Dan Romascanu. The Secretariat will send

next IESG teleconference (October 21, 2010).

The IESG decided to proceed with IETF review of the revised charter
pending edits to be provided by Ron Bonica. The Secretariat will send

The management issue was discussed.  The IESG approved the IANA
registry/process changes to draft-nottingham-http-link-header.

   6.2 Relationship of RFC 5996 to RFC 5282 in the RFC index (Sandy
       Ginoza)

The management issue was discussed.  The action was transferred from the
RFC Editor to the IESG.

Action item: Sean Turner and Tim Polk to make a recommendation to the
IESG on the relationship of RFC 5996 to RFC 5282.

   6.3 IESG Statement on Document Shepherds (Russ Housley)

The management issue was discussed.  The IESG approved the IESG
Statement on Document Shepherds.

   6.4 draft-gennai-smime-cnipa-pec (Russ Housley)

The management issue was discussed.  This management issue will be
revisited at the October 21, 2010 teleconference.

   6.5 Designated Expert for RFC 5970 (Michelle Cotton)

The management issue was discussed.  The IESG approved Vincent Zimmer
(vincent.zimmer@intel.com) as the designated expert reviewer for RFC
5970 registry assignments.
