    1. The minutes of the April 24 Teleconference were approved. Steve to
    place in public archives.

    2. The IESG approved publication of Service Location Protocol
    <draft-ietf-svrloc-protocol-17.txt> as a Proposed Standard. Steve to
    send announcement.

    3. The IESG approved publication of the following documents as Proposed
    Standards:

    o Mapping between X.400 and RFC-822/MIME Message Bodies
    <draft-ietf-mixer-bodymap-07.txt>

    o X.400 image body parts <draft-ietf-mixer-images-01.txt>

    o A MIME body part for FAX <draft-ietf-mixer-fax-01.txt>

    o MIXER: Mapping between X.400 and RFC 822/MIME
    <draft-kille-mixer-rfc1327bis-05.txt>

    o Carrying PostScript in X.400 and MIME
    <draft-ietf-mixer-postscript-01.txt>

    The IESG also approved publication of A MIME body part for ODA
    <draft-ietf-mixer-oda-01.txt> as an Experimental Protocol.

    4. The IESG approved publication of Best Current Practice for the
    Internet White Pages Service <draft-ietf-ids-ds-bcp-04.txt> as a BCP,
    albeit with a new document title:

    Deployment of the Internet White Pages Service

    5. The IESG approved publication of TCP and UDP over IPv6 Jumbograms
    <draft-borman-jumbograms-01.txt> as a Proposed Standard.

    6. The IESG approved publication of Use and interpretation of HTTP version
    numbers <draft-ietf-http-versions-01.txt> as an Informational RFC.
    Steve to send announcement.

    7. The IESG approved publication of Multicast Server Architectures for
    MARS-based ATM multicasting <draft-ietf-ion-marsmcs-02.txt> as an
    Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

    8. The IESG approved publication of MaXIM-11 - Mapping between
    X.400/Internet mail and Mail-11 mail <draft-ietf-mixer-mail11-00.txt>
    as an Experimental protocol. Steve to send announcement.

    9. The IESG approved publication of PPP Vendor Extensions
    <draft-ietf-pppext-vendor-01.xt> as an Informational RFC. Steve to send
    announcement.

    10. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Encapsulating IP with
    the Small Computer System Interface <draft-rfced-exp-elliston-00.txt>
    as an Experimental Protocol. Steve to inform the RFC Editor.

    11. The IESG had no problem with the publication of A Primer On Internet
    and TCP/IP Tools and Utilities <draft-rfced-info-kessler-00.txt> as an
    Informational RFC. Steve to inform the RFC Editor.

    12. The IESG had no problem with the publication of The CAST-128 Encryption
    <draft-rfced-info-adams-00.txt> as an Informational RFC. Steve to
    inform the RFC Editor.

    13. Thomas reported that he had exchanged notes with the author of
    Network Security For Large Trade Show <draft-rfced-info-gwinn-00.txt>
    and that a new version of the document is expected. Steve to send note
    to RFC Editor.

    14. Steve briefed the IESG on potential hotel sites in Chicago. Everyone
    agreed that a meeting in a downtown hotel was more desireable than a
    hotel at the airport.

    15. Proposed text for automatic inclusion in WG Charters was discussed.
    Some felt such text either didn't belong in a WG charter, didn't need
    to be written, or didn't like the text. Jeff Schiller is to wordsmith
    and distribute for another round of discussion.

    16. Keith Moore was selected as the IESG liaison to the IAB.
