    Minutes
    -------

    1. The IESG approved the minutes of the October 17 teleconference.
    Steve to place in IETF Shadow Directories.

    2. The IESG approved publication of The PPP NetBIOS Frames Control
    Protocol (NBFCP) <draft-ietf-pppext-netbios-fcp-08.txt> as a
    Proposed Standard. Steve to send announcement.

    3. The IESG approved creation of the Application Configuration Access
    Protocol (acap) WG in the Applications Area.

    4. Action was deferred on HTTP State Management Mechanism
    <draft-ietf-http-state-mgmt-03.txt, .ps> pending arrival of a new
    Internet-Draft addressing the issues raised by the IESG.

    5. The IESG directed Steve to send a note to Scott asking him to review
    the Internet-Draft Defending Against IP Source Address Spoofing
    <draft-rfced-info-senie-00.txt>, evaluating how close it is to the
    ferguson-ingress-filtering I-D, and determine the next step (what
    should be conveyed to the RFC Editor with respect to the spoofing
    document.

    6. The IESG approved the idea that no WG will receive 3 meeting slots
    at an IETF meeting until all other requests have been accommodated.
    If a third slot is provided, it will be scheduled either Friday
    mornings or during one of the night sessions.
